Realm, Focus, Pathway… Meanings

 

We have seen how Frames and Titles and indeed

all Parergons

are also forms of Focus.

 

 

And if the Title on the gravestone reads ‘Edgar Allan Poe’, then

the Realm consists of what lies within, and all he

did in his life. The Raven, his drinking,

and every association his name

has in our world today.

 

This is the meaning of ‘Edgar Allan Poe’.

 

And Pathways through this Realm?

Well, they are just the components – one is the Raven,

another is his love affair, another is

Dr Waldemar…

 

Edgar Allan Poe is the superordinate, and the Raven (etc)

 are subordinates or hyponyms.

 

These

Pathways

are the parts of the

Realm that are known, the parts competing for our

attention.  And

Focus

determines which Pathway that

will be.

 

And the Pathway we are on is very significant - it is

- the MEANING -

the part of the Realm in our minds, the part of our mind

which demands action.
